A decorative specially designed Palo Santo incense holder.

Palo Santo means Sacred Wood and is completely pure (pure wood). It is a typical tree, the Bursera Graveolens, that occurs on the coast of the Pacific Ocean of Central South America. It is called Sacred Wood because its blossoms arise during the Christmas season. The Sacred Wood comes from the Andes region and is extracted locally with respect for nature. Only branches that fall naturally from the trees are used. The wood is harvested from the ground only 4 to 10 years after the tree has released it naturally. It is during this period that the wood matures, so to speak, and gives the healing effect to the perfume of the wood. No tree is damaged during this process.

Palo Santo has been used for centuries in ceremonies, purification rituals and meditation. It improves the energy flow of the body. And wards off negativity and unhappiness. You can light it in a short time from a few seconds to a minute. As the wood burns the room will fill with a pure sweet resinous scent.
