This is a ceremonial incense that has been used for centuries by the indigenous peoples of the Americas, for example during sweat lodge ceremonies. Around the world, smudging is practiced to reconnect with the power of Mother Nature.

White sage is burned during ceremonies to ward off evil spirits, negative thoughts, and influences. The leaves are known for their distinctive aroma and are also used as a natural protection against moths (in clothing) or mosquitoes (in a room). Thanks to a unique handcrafted drying process, our white sage is very pure and has an intense aroma.

Instructions: Light the sage and blow out the flame once it burns well to produce smoke. Use this smoke to cleanse yourself, your environment, or objects. Move the smoke around the space, for example with a fan or a feather. To extinguish the sage, you can carefully place it in a bowl with silver sand to safely put out the smoldering bundle.
