The colors of the flags symbolize the 5 elements and the 5 Dhyani Buddhas (Vairocana, Akshobhya, Ratnasambhava, Amithaba and Amogasiddhi), which symbolize the inner and outer feminine and masculine energies in their purest form. Blue stands for heaven, white for air, red for fire, green for water and yellow for the earth.
