Mala Turquoise AA quality with guru bead

The beaded string is mainly used to count mantras that are recited. So it actually has the same function as a rosary (Catholic rosary). These mala Beads are made from Turquoise (semi) precious stones and are suitable for many purposes, for counting all kinds of mantras or other prayers, bows, tours and the like.

The cord is the same for all malas, and should consist of nine threads that symbolize the Buddha Vajradhara and the eight bodhisattvas. The large bead at the end stands for the wisdom that realizes the complete emptiness and the cylindrical bead above it is the emptiness itself. Together they symbolize that all opponents are defeated.

The colors of turquoise can vary from apple green to deep sky blue. This stone was used by the original inhabitants of America, the paleo-Indians, for visions and for making contact with the spiritual dimensions. Turquoise opens the third eye, makes the mind calm and clear, purifies and protects.
