The Muladhara connects the body, the earth and the way you move in the world. With willpower and material spirituality. The root chakra is related to feeling at home and being present in situations. When the chakra is open you feel grounded, stable and safe. You are present in the here and now.

Physically, the first chakra is associated with problems with the lower back, colon, bones, hips, buttocks and adrenal glands. All these parts belong to the lower part of the body, where the first chakra is also located. These are often the solid parts that provide support and the basis, such as the pelvis.

Emotionally, the first chakra has to do with security, basic trust, financial security (basic needs) and boundaries. One must first define the limits of one's possibilities in order to be able to expand them later. Setting personal boundaries is also part of this chakra.
