Copal has a sweet, woody scent when burned. It is a well-known incense resin due to its traditional use in spiritual and ceremonial rituals in various cultures.
Instructions for use: take a fireproof dish and place a charcoal disc in it. Then you light the charcoal disc, let it burn for a while until smoke is released. Place some incense resin on it and experience the scent that is released. You can also use a special sieve incense burner, but the combustion process is a bit slower than on charcoal. You can mix the incense resin with other types of incense herbs or incense resins to create your own incense scents.
